Bus stations never sell all of the bus tickets from advance sale. A certain number of tickets is always sold by the bus driver. Therefore, if tickets can no longer be purchased online or at the ticket office at the bus station, you may still be able to purchase a ticket from the bus driver.

A line bus is not a place for currency exchange! You should not buy tickets for bigger banknotes than 20 Euros.

Tickets with the prices listed on the website of TaistoLiinid.ee can be bought from the bus driver and these prices can differ from the prices of the tickets sold at bus stations.

If you want to buy a ticket with discount, please present an appropriate identifying document to the bus driver before buying a ticket, or when you have bought such ticket from advance sale, then present the ticket to the bus driver with supporting identifying document.

In order to use a public transport vehicle, every passenger must have a ticket or some other document that identifies his/her right to use public transport. Only after that a passenger has the right to take a seat in the passenger compartment.

Upon entering the public transport vehicle from the front door, the passenger has to present to the bus driver previously purchased ticket or some other document that identifies his/her right to use public transport. If the passenger does not have a ticket, he/she has to buy it from the bus driver right after entering the bus.

The ticket that is bought for this specific journey is valid only for this journey that it is sold for. A passenger has to check the accuracy of the data presented on the ticket right after receiving the ticket and if the amount presented on the ticket is the same as paid amount. The complaints that are presented later will not be dealt with.

The ticket gives the right for a journey only to the person who started the journey. It is not allowed to give the ticket to some other passenger.

Passenger is obliged to retain the ticket until the end of the journey and present the ticket or some other document that gives him/her the right to travel to the person who has the right to check tickets upon such request of this person. The ticket is not the property of the passenger, it is a document that identifies a contractual relationship between the passenger and the transporter providing transport services.

Upon losing the ticket, the passenger loses his/her right for journey.

Lost tickets will not be replaced and the amount paid for them is not to be compensated.

If the person has bought a ticket to a public transport vehicle and he/she misses that vehicle, then the passenger loses the right to travel with the same ticket in any other public transport vehicle. The ticket will not be bought back and the money will not be returned.

Online ticket sales

Tickets for the Taisto line buses can be purchased online at Tpilet.ee 10 days before the departure. To purchase a ticket, enter the bus stop for the start and finish of your trip. Then, enter the date of your trip to see ticket prices. The prices displayed on the Tpilet.ee website are only valid for the time of the purchase and may differ from the ticket prices at the bus stations and on the bus.

You can print out tickets purchased online at a ticket office or a self-service ticket machine at the bus station. You can also print the ticket out yourself or present it to the bus driver on your smart device. If you enter your name when purchasing the ticket, simply tell the bus driver that you have purchased a ticket with a name on it (called: Nimeline pilet) and you will be allowed to enter the bus on the basis of a respective identity document.

NB! All tickets are checked electronically upon entering the bus. In case the bus ticket has been illegally copied, the first person to present the respective ticket is the only one allowed on the bus.

A ticket is valid to enter the bus only at the bus stop and time of departure marked on the ticket. For example, a ticket bought to get on the bus at the Tallinn bus station is not valid to get on the bus at other bus stops in Tallinn, like the Vana-Pääsküla, Airport, or the Passenger Terminal bus stops. If you want to get on the bus at those stations, choose them as the starting point of your trip (for example, Vana-Pääsküla). Tickets lose their validity after the departure time of the bus has passed and the bus driver will have the right to sell the ticket for the now available seat.
